Follow UP Activity
On July 27, 2023 in Stronie Ślaskie we held a dissemination activity about sexual education and presented some shocking statistics about sexual violence in UE. The participants of this activity were participants of Erasmus+ project called 'Women's power'. We decided to prepare some 'true or false' statements and want our participants to guess if sentence is truthful. Topics related to gender based violence, gender equality, gender discrimination and women inclusion in the society were discussed. The task was intended to arouse curiosity and raise awareness of such phenomena. The workshop let participants discuss and think about these statistics.

Participants Impressions and evaluation
Zosia:
This project was something new for me I had never been involved in anything like it before. Therefore, at the beginning I was stressed not only about the language barrier but also about how the classes would look like. It was an amazing experience for me, which allowed me to practice the language but also taught me many new ways of learning sex education. The exercises were varied so it was never boring. I remember the Caring Fries method most because it is understandable for people of different ages and levels of education. We also had free time which allowed us to get to know each other better. In addition to free time, each group represented its own country.

The project in Cyprus passed very quickly. On the day of arrival, you could relax and explore the area. In the following days we had various classes where we learned many techniques or found out how, for example, sex education looks like in other countries in Europe. The trip allowed me to meet many valuable and interesting people and I improved my English. I'm sure it wasn't my last project on which I appeared.
Jagoda:
A trip to Cyprus is not only wonderful views and nicepeople, it is also an opportunity to develop, improvethe language, as well as unforgettable memories withpeople from different parts of the world. 🌏❤️ If you are afraid that this is not a project for you donot worry and try something new and you will notregret it.
Karolina:
The week spent in Cyprus as part of the reSPECTRUm project was a special time. I met wonderful, open and creative people, without whom the entire event would not have been such a success. In addition, I had the opportunity to improve my English, visit beautiful Cyprus and get to know myself again. Particularly important for me were classes on how to set boundaries towards other people and when they should be used. I believe that Erasmus+ is for people who are tolerant, brave, responsible, curious about the world and open to other people and what they represent.
