Lithuania team implemented the following follow up activities in their country:
1st Follow Up Activity
INGA PEKARSKIENĖ implemented an activity at Ukmergės "ŠILO" progymnasium, Miškų str. 45, Ukmergė, Lithuania. I organized a lecture-discussion for young high school students on the topic "I respect my body". I spoke to the 2nd grade children. We discussed that we can and should respect our body, no one can touch it, no need to take pictures and send it to friends.
During the group activity, we found out that the children know and understand the rules, and what will happen, if the rules are not followed. I involved the children in talking about bullying, when they make fun of their body, to share their thoughts about it. Children gave examples. During the activity I strengthened them empathetic skills communication with peers, I encouraged children to be responsible.
2nd Follow Up Activity
Tadas organise an activity in Ukmergės' Old Town Secondary School, Ukmergė, Lithuania. In the first weeks of September, after the training in Cyprus, I shared the information I received in Cyprus at the school I work in with colleagues and 7th and 8th grade students. At school about 50 students between the age of 13–14 years participated in the trainings on the topic of sex education. We discussed the possibility of sexual violence experienced by students. I emphasized to the students how to recognize possible threats in relation to sexual crimes, how to behave safely in the online space. We talked about tolerance for each other.
3rd Follow Up Activity
Zivile and Agne implemented a follow up activity in Youth camp in Palanga, Lithuania.
Organizing an activity for the vibrant group of young people aged 14 to 22 during our youth camp in Palanga was a truly significant and eye-opening experience. We embarked on a journey to discuss topics that are not only crucial but also often overlooked in the lives of youth: consent, sexuality, and respectful behavior towards one another.
The discussions we had were like a beacon of light in a world where these subjects are often shrouded in silence or confusion. Together, we explored the meaning of consent, delving into the intricate dynamics of relationships and intimacy. The engagement and curiosity of the young participants were inspiring, demonstrating their genuine eagerness to understand and navigate the complexities of human connection.
But it didn't stop there. We wanted our youth to experience the concept of consent in a tangible and memorable way. Through an interactive workshop, we created a safe space where they could express their consent through movements. This exercise allowed them to not only grasp the importance of clear communication but also feel the power of setting personal boundaries.
Watching these young minds engage with the workshop was truly heartwarming. Their enthusiasm and willingness to actively participate reflected their growing understanding of the significance of consent in their lives. It was a moment of empowerment, where they realized that their voices matter, and their boundaries deserve to be respected.
As youth leaders, we left this experience with a profound sense of hope and purpose. We are committed to continuing these vital conversations and activities, ensuring that our youth are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to build healthy, respectful, and fulfilling relationships in their lives. The youth camp in Palanga was a powerful reminder that the journey of self-discovery and growth begins with open hearts and open minds.

I can't help but feel a surge of happiness when I think about the moment I joined the project. It marked my third Erasmus project, and the anticipation was electrifying. Cyprus, our temporary home, embraced us with open arms, and its serene environment provided the perfect backdrop for our transformative journey.
What truly made this experience unforgettable was the power of teamwork. Together, we united people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs. We delved deep into the complexities of sexual issues, gender dynamics, and the ever-evolving roles of women and men in our societies. The intercultural exchange was eye-opening, revealing the beauty in the myriad of perspectives and the richness of understanding that blossomed from our discussions. As I reflect on those enlightening days, I can't help but feel a sense of purpose. The knowledge I gained during those trainings isn't just a treasure for my personal growth; it's a torch that I carry back to Lithuania. I am determined to use this newfound wisdom to make a positive impact in the lives of young people. With empathy, understanding, and the lessons learned in Cyprus, I am better equipped to guide and support them in navigating the complexities of gender and sexuality.
My heart swells with gratitude for this experience, and I am excited to pay it forward, knowing that the ripples of our time in Cyprus will continue to touch lives far beyond our journey's end.

I participated in the Erasmus+ project for the first time, but I hope not the last. This topic was particularly relevant to me because I work in preschool education. In our country, it is still not common to talk about sexuality education with children. During training, I noticed that not only in our country there is a stigma to speak, but also in other countries, such as Moldova. I really liked that during all the training respect was maintained for the training participants, them opinion and views. In this project, I met new people who broadened my cultural vision, tolerance, encouraged me to reveal myself more, voicing my opinion and strengthened my personal maturity.

The coaches - Erma, Victoria and Bobbie - created conditions for personal growth and positive change. The atmosphere was full of understanding, allowing us to share thoughts and insights. I really liked that I had the opportunity to communicate with interesting people from different countries, cultures, and their views on the same topic of sexual education that everyone was studying. Advanced group work methods used in training have been useful in the school too.
Zivile feedback
Participating in the sexual education training in Cyprus was an absolutely incredible experience for me, one that touched my heart and soul deeply. As a youth worker, this journey provided me with an array of invaluable tools and insights that I can now carry with me back to Lithuania, where I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our youth.
The atmosphere during the training was nothing short of inspiring. The group that came together for this journey was remarkably diverse, each participant bringing their unique perspective and wealth of experiences to the table. It was like a beautiful mosaic of voices, each one contributing to the greater picture of understanding and growth.
In those shared moments of learning, we were not just participants; we were a family of like-minded individuals with a shared mission: to empower and educate our young people about their own bodies, relationships, and sexuality. The bonds that were formed during this training were profound, as we listened, learned, and leaned on each other for support and inspiration.
Cyprus, with its stunning landscapes and warm hospitality, provided the perfect backdrop for this life-changing experience. It was a place where we not only absorbed knowledge but also nurtured our own personal growth. The scent of the sea, the gentle rustling of the palm trees, and the laughter shared during breaks added an extra layer of magic to our journey.
As I reflect on this transformative experience, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside such incredible individuals. The lessons and connections forged during our time in Cyprus will forever be etched in my heart. I am eager to apply the newfound knowledge and insights to my work with youth in Lithuania, knowing that I am better equipped to guide them towards a healthier understanding of their own sexual education.
In the end, it was not just a training; it was a profound journey of self-discovery, empathy, and empowerment. I am deeply thankful for this experience, and I carry the memories and lessons with me as a beacon of hope and change for the young minds I am privileged to work with in Lithuania.
