I recently participated in the Erasmus+ program in Cyprus. I had a wonderful time, gained knowledge and new friends. I learned new knowledge about sexuality education, health and self-awareness.It was very interesting to meet people from different cultures and become one family.
The program was organized by @acpelia_cyprus NGO.The program was very well organized, everything was at a high level. The courses were held in a very interesting way, every condition was created for the participants to feel comfortable. Thanks to the organizers for such a wonderful opportunity, I fell in love with wonderful Cyprus and learned new tools in the field of education.

Once upon a time, in a small Cypriot town, a group of passionate participants came together with a bold idea – to participate in an Erasmus+ project that would promote sexual education and gender identity acceptance among young people. Our vision was to empower the youth to embrace diversity, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all.
During those 10 days we had an amazing experience, met new people , learned some new methods and tools. The participants engaged in open discussions, asking questions and exchanging ideas, shedding light on the importance of comprehensive and inclusive sexual education. After we had an opportunity to share our knowledge with young people in Armenia and also we shared in between our friends and encouraged everyone to take part in projects.
Overall it was a thrilling experience for me.
All these happened due to Youth Mix NGO and ACPELIA NGO.

I've just had an unforgettable journey filled with warmth and welcome in Cyprus, where I had the privilege of participating in the life-changing "cREating a Safe sPacE for inClusiviTy, sexual and ReprodUctive non-forMal education for youth workers: reSPECTRUm" Erasmus Plus training course. From the outset, I faced health challenges and felt nervous about the project, but the incredible support and care from our close-knit group quickly eased my fears. We began with a vulnerable activity, sharing our expectations and fears, which strengthened the bond between us. The exploration of inclusivity, sexual and reproductive health, and the impact of bullying empowered us to think critically and form working groups, all guided by dedicated trainers and inspiring participants.
The program enlightened me on the vital role of educators in creating supportive spaces and promoting emotional education and soft skills to combat bullying. Understanding different forms of sexuality and lifestyles made me a more knowledgeable and open-minded educator. The lessons on consent, communication, safe spaces, and identity were an emotional rollercoaster, spurring profound self-discovery and personal growth. Stories shared by others touched my heart, fueling my determination to become a more compassionate and understanding educator.

What were the impressions of our participants about the project
Especially the "City Race" in Pissouri was an incredible experience, forming powerful bonds among random individuals, exploring the vibrant streets, and uncovering hidden stories. I returned with cherished memories, newfound friendships, and a wealth of valuable knowledge. This Erasmus Plus training course has been an invaluable experience full of bright impressions and empowering me as a citizen, young leader, and youth worker, and deepening my commitment to creating inclusive societies.
My heartfelt appreciation goes to the incredible organizers at Acpelia and the participants from all participating counties, who made this project truly unforgettable. Hope to meet you all soon!

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Erasmus+ program in Cyprus, and it has been a journey filled with knowledge about sexuality education, health issues, personal growth, and lasting connections. The program was organized by Acpelia NGO, and I must commend them for their exceptional organization and attention to detail. Every aspect of the courses was thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment for all participants.
Each they of the project I had an amazing experience, surrounded by like-minded individuals eager to make a positive impact. Engaging in open discussions and exchanging ideas allowed us to shed light on the significance of comprehensive and inclusive sexual education for young people. The knowledge I gained was not only a transformative experience for me but also a valuable resource that I could share with others.
Since returning from Cyprus, I have been inspired to share my newfound knowledge with young people in Armenia, spreading awareness and encouraging them to embrace diversity. Additionally, I have been actively discussing the Erasmus+ program with my friends, motivating them to participate in similar projects and join the global effort to foster an inclusive and safe environment for all. The impact of this experience will continue to ripple through my life, shaping me into a more empathetic and understanding individual, and fueling my dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of young people. I look forward to being part of more projects like this in the future!
What were the impressions of our participants about the follow up Activity that they have done in Armenia
Davit Akelyan - As the following part of the Erasmus Plus project, my friends and I took the initiative to conduct dissemination and follow-up activities with local youths. Our goal was to share the valuable knowledge and experiences gained from the "cREating a Safe sPacE for inClusiviTy, sexual and ReprodUctive non-forMal education for youth workers: reSPECTRUm" training course taken place in Cyprus, Pissouri with the young members of our community.
On July 9, 2023, at Yeghvard, Kotayk Province of RA, we organized a one-hour activity for 20 participants, aged between 14 to 17 years old, consisting of both boys and girls. These enthusiastic young minds were all stakeholders of Youth Mix NGO. During the activity, I had the opportunity to deliver a short presentation on the training course, sharing my personal experiences and the invaluable lessons I learned. I emphasized the new methods we discovered for non-formal and sexual education, the skills we gained to better understand ourselves and others, and the importance of concepts such as consent, equal treatment, and respectfulness. We crafted a series of thought-provoking questions covering topics of the training, and we eagerly posed them to the participants during the activities. Our aim was to actively engage them in stimulating discussions and encourage open dialogue about important issues. By involving them in these conversations, we hoped to foster a deeper understanding of inclusive sexual and reproductive health, empathy, and the significance of respecting diverse perspectives. Their insightful responses added a valuable dimension to the activities, further reinforcing the message of the importance of creating a safe and inclusive space for learning and growth. Also, we spoke about Erasmus Plus projects and encouraged youths to take opportunities of Erasmus projects. From our experience, we shared some tips and advice on finding and applying to such programs. Our dissemination and follow-up activities with these local youths were a profound success. We believe that by empowering and educating the next generation, we are paving the way for a more inclusive and compassionate world. Through these initiatives, we hope to create a ripple effect, inspiring more young people to champion the cause of inclusivity and sexual and reproductive health in their communities.
